Our Story
My crochet journey started back in 2020 when the world came to a stop. I taught myself to crochet by watching tutorials and studying the stitches in a blanket my great grandmother made for me. As I practiced, I realized I wasn’t just learning a skill, I was connecting to something bigger, a tradition that had been passed down through generations.
As time went on, I fell in love with plied yarn and the charm of old crochet patterns and charts. I’d spend hours searching for patterns of lace tablecloths and doilies, working them up as wall hangings that could bring a bit of new life to these vintage projects.
In 2025, things shifted again when I started making clothes for my daughter. Each piece felt special, just like my grandmothers blanket. Maybe one day my daughter might pick up a hook and continue this tradition. Crochet has became more than a hobby, it is a way to honor the past while creating something for the future.
Then I found out that plied yarn, the kind that first inspired me, wasn’t available in the U.S. anymore. I couldn’t let it go, so I decided to make it myself. What started as a personal project has turned into a growing community.
Today, this company represents a lot of hope to me, both as a way to be able to spend more time with my children and a way to keep the memories of my past loved ones close. Every yarn cake created is made with care, carrying forward a bit of history and hopefully inspiring pieces that will be loved for years to come.
What We Do
We create 100% cotton plied yarn. Yarns are available through curated collections inspired by nature, the liquid flow of colors, and maybe a pop reference here and there. We also create fully customizable yarn, allowing makers to design their own yarn in ways never before offered. From the number of plies to the length, style, and color palette, every detail can be tailored to match a maker’s vision.
